Our six-acre vineyard sits on a 1,500-foot bench below Round Mountain and above the North Fork of Cache Creek.  A combination of mineral-rich volcanic soil and hot summer temperatures with breezy, cool nights promotes a slow, even, ripening of the grapes. 

Winemaker Michael Noggle brings the fruit-forward drama of the hot mountain landscape and crystal blue skies into the bottle.  The result in the glass is a structured and balanced bouquet of deep berry flavors, black cherry, and chocolate with a lingering silky finish.

The 2003 harvest of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes produced the first release for Noggle Vineyards & Winery.  This remarkable vintage is what wine lovers have been hoping for from Lake County.

We invite you to visit us at the winery.  Our tasting room is open weekends from 10-5 pm and by appointment during the week. The winery is also available for private winemaker dinners, or food-pairing tastings.
