The 2005 estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were
harvested at 24.8 brix and finished with 3.59 PH and
0.63 TA. The wine contains 13.8% alcohol and was
cellared in 100% East Bernstadt American Oak barrels for
29 months. 300 cases were bottled. This wine has a
luscious bouquet of dark, rich berry flavors that are
intensely flavorful and fruity. It's a full bodied,
complex, well structured wine that carries a hint of
chocolate and vanilla on the palate with a smooth and
elegant finish.
